Plantation Tour: Get to Know the Land

We want to show you some of the process on how we grow ginger in the Peruvian Jungle.

Ginger fields grow in the jungle during the rainy season because they need a good amount of water in order to get an average size and humidity.

Most of the farmers grow their product in small valleys where they can also have an extra water source like a small river to ensure the supply of this year around.

Surrounded by nature and wild life

This fields have a great amount of wild trees and many animals around, and this helps create a protection from strong winds and access to the product when its ready to harvest.

Also the land is more suitable and contains the minerals this product needs to grow without artificial fertilizers and have a better yield.
